I wanted my first blog post to be on something that I know i'd tried and tested. When I discovered that The Body Shop had released their own range of liquid lips I was so excited! My lipstick collection is made up of 85% liquid lips, so its fair to say they're my favourite.
When I saw Windsor Rose online I was a bit skeptical about the colour. I'm always quite nervous about nude lipsticks as I feel they can sometimes wash me out because i'm quite pale (joys of living in England). So when I looked at the shades when I went into my local shop, I saw that Windsor Rose was more of a browney-nude which is the exact colour I wanted it to be.
I also picked up three other shades which are going to be perfect for the autum/winter time, plus darker lipsticks are my ultimate favourite anyway.
I picked up Tahiti, Mauritius Dahlia and Sicily.
Tahiti is a gorgeous reddish purple, Mauritius Dahlia is a lovely berry toned lipstick and Sicily is by far the darkest of them all being a deep plum shade.
These liquid lipsticks are the perfectly wearable, they feel so lightweight but pack so much colour on the lips.
It doesn't matter how much you layer the colour on to perfect it and have it the way you want it, it doesn't feel thick or drying on the lips.
